Why is it we understand that the state has no right to come into our homes and inflict violence upon us but we think it's OK for the state to go to another country and inflict violence on other people in their homes?

Cognitive dissonance, anyone?

Because there's such a thing as Cassus Belli, and the Taliban pseudogovernment harboring the organization that killed 3,000 American civilians is one such.

The prosecution of the war is certainly up for criticism, but spare me the "no right to be in their home" hogwash.

British sniper, who has no business being in Afghanistan, kills six natives. Sixty relatives vow to dedicate their lives to carrying out revenge on the West.

And the point of this is ... ??

It's called HYPOCRISY!
We live under a dogmatic and narcissistic personality that has not moral code of ethics nor fundamental leadership.

I am still trying to figure out what freedoms of mine have been protecting by invading Afghanistan and Iraq. Seems like the more "freedom" we spread abroad, the more we lose here.

No tears for these musies, they started it and get what they deserve. I say that because I still remember the towers coming down as apparently others cannot.

3000 innocent dead men and women gives me the right to say that.

They are our declared enemies and my remedy would be much more severe than a single bullet and as a matter of fact, every one they have they have ever made. The ones who survived would see to it that none of their people ever attempted anything like it ever again.

We have enemies both foreign and domestic and cannot afford the luxury of crawling into a hole somewhere and pulling it in after us. Not if we intend any kind of freedom and liberty for our children.

You best come to grips with that because it's the truth.

Let's see the sniper from 900+ yards hits the trigger of a suicide vest and blows up the bomber and a few of his close friends. Good shot is an understatement, I'd say a great shot.

Sure the war is bullcrap, and we should never have had troops there (thanks MIC). A few select bombings and taking out OBL ten years ago, would have been enough. That's the problem with standing, professional armies, they tend to encourage use.
