Police problem is unaccountable attitude

Police officers act like they're in a war zone, forgetting they face citizens, not enemies.

Well, in a way they are in a war zone. The ruling class has declared war on the rest of us. Most people aren't aware of it yet.

Good to see one judge finally get it. Bet he gets overturned by higher courts.

The pigs enjoy dressing up as soldiers and bullying (or worse) docile citizens. A submissive attitude in the face of such aggression is totally repugnant to anyone with a measure of self-respect; it also emboldens the aggressors. Of course, the "just us" system protects them and encourages their behavior. The police in the US today are above the law and, in particular, above the Bill of Rights, and they know it. They, not radical Muslim fundies halfway around the world, are the destroyers of our liberties and America as it was meant to be.

Lawsuits that punish no one but the taxpayers aren't going to change this. Neither is the system going to fix itself. The situation will only continue to get worse until abusive police start suffering personal consequences at the hands of angry citizens.
