More on the Maryland Thought Police

This is not law enforcement. This is not public safety. This is garden variety stupidity of the most egregious sort.

Saints Preserve Us - tis a good thing that Tom Clancy has passed - his fiction DEFINITELY would have met the criteria for an emergency intervention. After all, the detonation of a nuclear device was the centerpiece of one of his novels - just a bit more destructive than a school shooting.
In case the other readers do not know: Clancy lived in Maryland.

If they're going to start hauling people in for writing inflammatory things that could lead to a danger to public health, it would seem to me that we should start locking up communists, Marxists, and socialists, as they represent the clearest, historical danger to public well being. Be careful what you wish for....

He was suspended because he sent a suicidal note to the Principal of the school.
